A long-time Castle Rock owner and former appraiser, Tom Kiske, sent the following Opposition Report to city council members concerning the upcoming meeting to decide the zoning request change for Phillips Square from PDD to General Commercial on May 22, 2025 at 6:00pm.  We encourage everyone to attend the meeting and also to review the information below-

The development that is going in just to the west of Castle Rock, Phillips Square, has put forth a zoning change request from a Planned Development District (PDD) to General Commercial (GC) Office (O) and Natural Protected Areas (NAP).  Below are links to the City website describing what is allowed in each category -
The City Council will be considering the zoning change request at the May 22, 2025.  This meeting will take place in the City Hall Council Chambers at 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, TX.  All residents are encouraged to attend this meeting and be aware of what is proposed to be built next to the community.  Please note-
